Owamagbe Odighizuwa,

It seems like for years the Giants really like taking chances on mid-round defensive linemen. Justin Tuck, Damontre Moore, Jay Bromley, and Barry Cofield were all selected in the third- or fourth-rounds. Odighizuwa is their newest project, and he gets to learn from Steve Spagnuolo, which is exciting. Odighizuwa has got a high motor, is pretty strong, and has the talent to develop at a quick pace.

The only problem? The Giants (with Jason Pierre-Paul) have some depth along the line. Pierre-Paul, Robert Ayers, and Moore will be manning the ends, and Odighizuwa may only see some sparing playing time as a rotational end early on. That said, should one or two ends go down, he could slide in and get a lot of snaps. And if he’s thrown into the fire, I expect him to generate a few sacks.

He might not get a lot of playing time, but if he gets around 300 snaps, I think six sacks is in reach.
