Geremy Davis

I’m a little partial to the UCONN product—being from Connecticut and all, but this was a good flier for the Giants to take in the sixth round. Davis has the potential to be a solid gunner on punt returns and should he make the team (I expect him to), he will help this team. His impact might be the least noticeable of the bunch, but it’ll be important nonetheless.

As far as being a receiver… well, that’s another story. Good size, apparently catches most of what’s thrown at him, but he’s a project for sure. As camp and preseason goes on, look for how Davis performs on special teams, not so much receiver. He’ll most likely make the team based on how he performs with the former unit.
