5 Players the Giants Should Cut Before the Season Starts

Jayron Hosley – CB
Hosley has been outmatched for the majority of his career. It seems as though every time he is on the field receivers are running wild around him or shedding his ill advised tackle attempts. With just 53 tackles and 1 interception over 3 seasons. Hosley has been a detriment to the Giants defense. He has contributed on special teams however…..with 3 punt returns for 9 total yards.
Jerry Reese does have a history of sticking with his underwhelming draft picks and giving them every opportunity to succeed ( ie. Sinorice Moss and Ramses Barden) but its hard to imagine Hosley sticking around for one more year. I would have cut him last season but the Giants were hurt in the secondary and it looks like they are lacking depth this year too.
If Hosley makes the team it will be as a back of the roster cornerback/special teamer. Hopefully a couple of unknowns out play him.
