Eli Manning
Going into his second year of the offense Eli will not need some games to figure everything out. He is ready to go. The two time Super Bowl MVP is the reason the Giants are always a threat. With Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle, James Jones, Larry Donnell, Shane Vereen, and Rashad Jennings to throw the ball to Manning will have numerous high quality options to throw to all day.
This offense is designed to throw more then run and hopefully Manning’s passing game opens up some running lanes for the ground attack as soon as possible. I look at his numbers from last season: 4,410 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and a 63.3% completion percentage and I am very impressed. I’m more impressed that he did all of that with half a deck.
Now, in 2015 Manning has possibly more weapons then he has ever had, in an offense designed for him to get the ball out quick and make fast decisions. I take team accomplishments over personal accolades any day but if Eli can put this Giants team on his back like he did in 2011 he will be in serious contention for the NFL MVP award.
