On July fourth, Jason Pierre-Paul’s celebration didn’t go as planned. He severely injured his hand in a fireworks accident. Before the incident the Giants and Pierre-Paul were working towards a long-term contract. Now the Giants are waiting for him to sign his franchise tag tender. The future of Pierre-Paul is certainly a mystery that can only be solved in time.

Jason Pierre-Paul is coming off what many would consider a great season with 12.5 sacks. Though it is only fair to point out that a majority of those sacks came in the last five games of the season.
