Marshall Newhouse
Marshall Newhouse was the starting left tackle for the Green Bay Packers during the 2011 and 2012 seasons but he eventually lost his starting job in 2013. He caught on with the Cincinnati Bengals last season and started 5 games with the AFC North Champs but again he lost his starting job at right tackle.
Newhouse, like John Jerry, has shown the ability to move around the line as he did also play guard for the Bengals last season. Unlike Jerry, Newhouse has lost 2 starting jobs in the last 2 seasons. He may have the benefit of being familiar with offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo’s offense.
Newhouse is listed atop the Giants depth chart at right tackle but there is a lot of things to be worked out before the Giants open up the season.
