Bennett Jackson is soaring at the moment. He sits atop of the depth chart above both Mykkele Thompson and Jeromy Miles. Jackson is going to have to be able to solidify his role in live action.

Safety is one of the positions the Giants really heed stability at. Landon Collins is one proven player, but he needs someone to complement his talents. It is essential that the player works well with Collins.

Jackson is a second year player. He was drafted by the Giants in 2014 and is a surprise starter. Thompson and Miles were both projected to be better than Jackson, but the Giants coaches feel differently.

Jackson is making a transition from cornerback to safety and it seems to be working out pretty well for the Giants defense. Steve Spagnuolo has a history of taking former high draft picks and making them into major contributors.
