3. Better Pass Rush

The Giants have always taken pride in their ability to rush the passer. That is what they need to show they can do tomorrow night against the Jaguars. They need to make the Jaguars quarterbacks scream for mercy. The Giants defense has its flaws and the only way to cover them up is to get the quarterback on the ground.

The Giants need to see more push up front period. They got beat off the ball and both Bengals quarterbacks got to have a clean pocket in the first half of last weeks game. Let’s see what Kerry Wynn can do. Let’s see Robert Ayers and Damontre Moore step up. We need a strong pass rush. Last week the Giants looked lethargic. This week they need to ring hell’s bells in the backfield.

While it is just the preseason (and therefore the score is a meaningless result) the Giants have to see what they have before they step on the field against the Cowboys in the first week of the season. The Giants are counting on their pass rush to allow them to win on the defensive side of the football.
