4. Young Players To Watch For

The Giants saw a flash from Akeem Hunt last week with a long kickoff return that set up a field goal for the Giants. Hunt also had 3 rushes for 18 yards. The Giants certainly saw Hunt’s speed in action during last weeks game and he is one of the young studs to watch in this preseason game.

With all the uncertainty and injuries in the secondary this really is a great chance for Cooper Taylor to show us what he can do at the free safety position. Corey Washington is also a receiver that I want to see do well in the preseason. This raw receiver has special physical ability and the Giants can’t help but be impressed by his potential.

This is also a big chance for guys like Bennett Jackson and Kerry Wynn to show what they have on the defensive side of the football. You want a sleeper? How about Cole Farrand. I really believe that if he gets his chance he can be a starting caliber player in the NFL.
