Last year the Dallas Cowboys rolled to a 12-4 record and won the NFC East. The Cowboys season was based upon their mauling offensive line which opened up their run game and took the ball out of Tony Romo’s hand. The line and run game controlled the clock for Dallas’ offense and kept their sub-par defense off the field.

If the Giants want to beat Dallas and avoid being swept by the Cowboys for a third straight season the defense must stop Dallas’ run game. Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten are still very viable threats but if the run game is stalled Dallas won’t be able to control the clock like they did in 2014.

If the Giants can keep Dallas’ defense on the field they will greatly improve their chances of winning. Keeping Eli Manning and his scary passing attack on the field will be huge. If the Giants can turn the tables and control the clock with their run game I think the Giants can walk away from these meetings with a couple of wins. Dallas currently sits atop the division and they, from what I can see, are the Giants biggest competition for the NFC East crown.
