Running Back: DeMarco Murray

The Giants know that Murray is an unstoppable force with a full head of steam. The Eagles are surely glad to have Murray, as they think he fits their offense perfectly. Murray had an incredible season last year as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Murray rushed for an incredible 1,845 yards. He proved that he could be a workhorse type of running back. This season we will see if Murray’s greatest season was the result of the Cowboys’ mammoth offensive line or his skill as a rusher.

No matter how you slice it, Murray is the most impressive running back in the NFL. Alfred Morris is impressive but the Redskins rushing attack struggled last season. The Giants have three talented rushers but none of them have had a 1,000 yard season. Shane Vereen and Darren Sproles (Murray’s teammate) are more accomplished in the passing game.
