Tight End 1: Jason Witten
There is no greater model of consistency than Jason Witten. Witten has been one of the best tight ends in the league since 2003. If he gets just 57 receptions this season he will reach 1,000 receptions for his career. Last season Witten had 64 receptions for 703 yards and 5 touchdowns. Giants fans don’t have to like seeing a Cowboy get this honor but it is awfully hard not to respect Witten.
Tight End 2: Larry Donnell
Donnell is a young player who hopefully can have a Witten like career. Donnell is a big 6’6″ receiver who came onto the scene strong last season. In his first full season as the starting tight end, Donnell had 63 receptions for 623 yards and 6 touchdowns. This was just the beginning of Donnell’s time in the limelight.
