CB – Tim Jennings

Jennings has spent the last 5 years with the Chicago Bears. Chicago though looks to be in a rebuilding year and is looking to get younger. Jennings will be a great signing for whoever he lands with. He is a durable corner with a nose for the football. Over his 9 seasons Jennings has 20 interceptions, 8 forced fumbles, and 6 fumble recoveries. Jennings is also a strong tackler, accruing no less then 50 tackles in any season since 2007.

The Giants holes in the secondary are at safety but you can never have too many corners in the NFL, especially with how offenses are run today. He would be an upgrade over Trumaine McBride in the slot or he can spell on the outside for Prince Amukamara and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Jennings has missed just 3 games over the last 4 seasons. He is another veteran that can help the younger guys around him. If I was in the Giants front office I would have gone after Jennings yesterday.
