1. Young Talent

This is not the Giants team that won two Super Bowl championships in 5 years. This is a much younger team. When you look at the Giants youth stands out at so many key positions. From their Madden cover earning receiver in his second year to the Giants first round draft pick, the Giants have a lot riding on their youth.

Ereck Flowers was a flash of hope this preseason. While it was clear in the exhibition competition that the offensive line was a concern, Flowers showed that the NFL stage wasn’t too big for him. Flowers held his own with only a couple troublesome sequences. The Giants offensive line has a lot to worry about but the left tackle position isn’t on that list.

Odell Beckham Jr. comes into his second season looking as unbelievably athletic as ever before. He is a special talent and is without a doubt a building block for the future of the franchise. Landon Collins has all the talent in the world and could blossom into a dominant strong safety. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, Kerry Wynn, Johnathan Hankins and Damontre Moore are the next wave of great Giants defensive linemen. Young pass rushers was of course a staple of the last two championships in Giants history (it was a staple of the previous two as well).

Devon Kennard is another young defensive player that gives the Giants hope to a really bright future. The point is that this is a Giants team that has a lot of young talent. That is a reason for hope.
