7 of 10

Defensive Line: B-

Robert Ayers

Cullen Jenkins

Johnathan Hankins

Markus Kuhn

Kerry Wynn

Owa Odighizuwa

Jay Bromley

George Selvie

Damontre Moore

Louis Nix

Jason Pierre-Paul (reserved for now)

The Giants emphasis on pass rush is clear here. The Giants defense is going to have problems elsewhere so they need all eleven players to contribute and rotate into the game; getting to the quarterback is the Giants best chance of success defensively. The Jason Pierre-Paul situation could turn this grade into an A, if he has a surprising resurgence after his traumatic offseason.

The Giants are hoping to see big things from Damontre Moore. The Giants have a lot of hoe for Owa Odighizuwa as well. The big names on the defensive line however are Cullen Jenkins, Johnathan Hankins and Robert Ayers. These are the Giants three most reliable players on the defensive front.

The Giants have pass rushers but they need to prove that they can stuff the run as well. The Giants showed weak efforts of outside contain and got pushed off the ball all of last season against the run.

Next: Linebackers
