The New York Giants get the first Sunday Night Football game of the season, it will be a clash against the Dallas Cowboys. The power has shifted to the Cowboys in the last two seasons and it is crucial that the Giants change that on Sunday night. This is a show me game, the Giants can prove their legitimacy in this season opener.
No week one loss is the end of the world but this is the biggest season opener in recent memory for the Giants. The Giants are a team that has gotten off to slow starts a common characteristic of the past two losing seasons. In 2013 they started off 0-6. In 2014 they lost their first two games, then gave us hope with a few wins only to lose seven consecutive games. The Giants need to give themselves a reason to believe to avoid the downward spirals of seasons past.
Let’s take a look at the best case scenario for the Giants in this pivotal battle. I am going to outline what needs to happen for a Giants win.
