Air it Out

Eli Manning can and should fully take advantage of a weak secondary. Brandon Carr is Dallas’ defensive back, hes a durable player but has only 3 interceptions over the past two seasons. Morris Claiborne is looking like a bust and safeties Barry Church and J.J Wilcox are pretty slow for the position.

Victor Cruz is out but Odell Beckham and Rueben Randle form a threatening receiver duo and Larry Donnell causes matchup problems for linebackers or corners. Shane Vereen will be making plays out of the backfield and so will Rashad Jennings.

The Giants should use the passing game to open up their rushing attack. When the defense has to respect the pass, they must drop back a little bit, lessening the amount of defenders in the box to stop the run. If the Giants passing attack can keep Dallas’ defense on their heels they should be able to get a gouging run game going.

As I mention on the last slide, if they can get going early and get a lead they may force the Cowboys to lean less on their run game.
