1. The Giants’ Offense Is Going To Boom In Week 2
One of the things the Giants learned from this loss is that being conservative on offense isn’t going to get them anywhere. That is one of the reasons why they lost in the first place. Yes, it’s understandable that they are cautious about Beckham being double covered, but playing it safe never helped anyone.
The Giants should have attacked the Cowboys’ secondary with deep passes down the field. One of the reasons why they didn’t do that very often was because Parker dropped every pass that came his way. If the Giants get Cruz back, it’s going to be a whole different ball game.
Whether or not the Giants have Cruz in week two, I expect them to be in a win now kind of a mood. They had the game in he bag against the Cowboys and got it stolen away from them over one boneheaded play.
The Giants are going to do anything they can to turn things around and take advantage of the Philadelphia Eagles Monday night loss. The Cowboys are the only team with a win in the NFC East and that just could have easily been the Giants. Expect them to come out firing with a vengeance in their home opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
