4. Eli Manning’s Ability To Shrug Off The Naysayers
You have to give Manning some credit for owning up to his mistakes. He’s a stand up guy and that’s why he’s the quarterback of the Giants. He knows exactly how to handle the blowback the New York media gives him. Manning also knows how to use it to his advantage.
When it all boils down to it, Manning made a mistake and he’s paying for it. Most argue that the Giants morale is going to be low, but as you can see from the previous slide that isn’t going to happen. At least not with Manning running the offense.
For years now the media has been saying that Manning is not a top quarterback and that he isn’t elite. Well, Manning seems to prove them wrong time and time again. He’s a two time Super Bowl MVP and beat one of the greatest teams of all time, the 2007 New England Patriots.
Manning is going to have that same attitude Sunday and rebound against the Falcons. Expect him to show why the Giants gave him an $84 million dollar contract extension. These criticisms of his play will all go away after Sunday and he knows it.
