 9. The Giants are Great On Third Down

The Giants are great at converting on third down so it will be tough for the Bills to get the Giants off the field despite having a good defense. The Giants have converted on 46 percent on third down. On a statistics exam that would be a failing grade on third down conversions that’s pretty darn good. The Giants rank sixth in this department.

The Giants need to take advantage of this strength on Sunday. They must take ownership of this game on offense. The Giants must put up the points and they have to avoid the big plays the Bills defense is so capable of making. The Giants offense is going to win or lose this game. If the offensive line struggles and Manning is not red hot this could be a troubling game for Big Blue.

The Giants are likely good on third down because they have so many players to go to on the big moments. Shane Vereen has certainly helped. Odell Beckham can bail you out of any bad situation.
