7. Rex Ryan Brings The Heat:

There is no hiding my admiration for Rex Ryan. He is my idol. He speaks his mind, he is genuine and he brings the heat on defense. I am a Baltimore boy (the Ravens are my first love though I love covering the Giants) and I got to grow up watching Rex Ryan defenses. So if there is one thing I know it is there isn’t a defensive mind sharper or more exciting that Ryan’s.

Ryan and his staff are going to come up with exotic schemes and pressures that confuse the Giants offense. It is going to happen, I promise you. But the Giants must understand with Ryan defenses it is all about numbers. Ryan likes overload blitzes like Super Mario likes Princess Peach. He wants to bring more guys than a guard and a tackle can handle. So the key to everything is not getting confused and recognizing where the blitz is coming from.

Ryan believes in high risk-high reward. He will get burned because of it but he does not care. Turnovers and sacks win football games and he will do anything to get them. The key is making them pay for their aggressive tendency.
