3. Turnover Ratio

Last season the turnover battle was one the Giants usually lost and the team was -2 in the turnover ratio. This year the turnover ratio is plus six. Manning has thrown one interception in four games and there have been a couple fumbles but for the most part the Giants are taking care of the football. Even more excitingly the Giants are taking the football away from their opponents.

The Giants have five interceptions on the season defensively. Unani’ Unga has two interceptions. Trumaine McBride, Prince Amukamara and Devon Kennard all have one. Kennard’s interception was the most impressive. He was playing step for step against Charles Clay in man coverage and made a sensational pick in the air.

The defense has more bite than they do bark this season. It is clear that Steve Spagnuolo is making a huge impact on the defense.
