You could make the argument Osi should be lower on this list, but I am keeping him at seven because he never really was a great run-defender, and became one of those pass-rushing specialists in the twilight of his career.
That’s no knock on Osi’s contributions to the Giants, however. He was an incredibly disruptive force in the backfield and posted double digit sacks three seasons of his career. And for other six years he wore a Giants uniform he was consistently one of their top, if not their top, pass rusher. That’s quite an accomplishment while playing on a team that won two Super Bowls.
Between his consistency and knack for big plays, Osi wasn’t just one of the great defensive linemen. He was a true Giant—one fans will remember.
