  1. Arnie Weinmeister

Who? I know, I asked the same question while putting this list together, but Weinmeister was one heck of a player, and one heck of a Giant. He played four years for the Giants from 1950-1953. Every year, the defensive tackle was an All-Pro.

Like Badgro, his Hall of Fame page is worth a read and it’s where you’ll find the most in-depth information about his play, but I’ll mention some of his skills and accolades here. He was regarded as maybe the fastest defensive lineman in the game, even though he was bigger than your typical defensive lineman. And he was one of the team’s captains his last year playing for the Giants.

When you make the Hall of Fame, you’re going to be low on the “best of” lists. All his accomplishments combined with his place in Canton makes him my number 3.
