Drew Brees Ties NFL Record
To the victor goes the spoils, therefore we will talk about the Saints legendary quarterback and one of his most historical achievements before we talk about Eli Manning and company. With seven touchdown passes Drew Brees tied an NFL record for the most touchdowns tossed in a game. It was one of the most efficient and accurate games I have ever seen from a quarterback.
In addition to his 7 touchdown passes, Brees threw for 511 yards and only had ten incompletions. There was blood in the waters of the Giants secondary and Brees attacked Big Blue relentlessly. Brees doesn’t get scared away by any defense. He has been there and he has done that. Though it hardly has been as easy as the Giants made it on the great quarterback.
Brees attacked the entire field and he incorporated all of his weapons. Brees completed a pass to nine different Saints players. It was the masterful work we have come to expect from Brees. He truly is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever step on the football field.
