7. Will Odell Beckham Improve?
This isn’t a knock on Beckham; he’s been extremely productive this year, and is on pace for around 1300 yards and 100 receptions, which is fantastic. If the Giants don’t make the playoffs, they’re not going to blame Beckham for posting 1300 yards and 15 touchdowns.
But based on the second half of last year, I think he can do even more. He’s had a few quiet games this year (he’s been under 50 yards three times), but he’s exploded a few times.
Although the schedule gets a little tougher—he’ll have to face Josh Norman, Brent Grimes, and Xavier Rhodes—I really don’t believe there’s a matchup Beckham can’t beat. Remember: he had seven receptions for 108 yards last year against Richard Sherman. He’s had a real nice sophomore year, but I’d like to see if it can get even better in the second half.
