3. The World Is Expecting A Show

There is a lot of offensive fire power in this matchup. On one side you have Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski which is one of the most unstoppable pairings I have ever seen. On the other side you have Eli Manning and Odell Beckham who are as explosive of a duo as it gets. The Giants and Patriots have two of the best offensive attacks in football. This could be a shootout much like the Saints game.

Everyone loves a heavy weight fight against two elite quarterbacks. Both quarterbacks are capable of lighting up the scoreboard. Logic says there will be a lot of points scored in this game. The question is can the Giants keep up with the Patriots? The Patriots score 34.5 points per game and have the second ranked offense in the NFL. The Giants have the worst pass defense in the NFL. I wouldn’t expect Brady to be stopped an awful lot on Sunday.

The pressure inevitably falls on Eli Manning to keep pace. This is a huge opportunity for the defense to redeem themselves for their shellacking in the Saints game. If the Giants defense can slow the Patriots down just a little bit, maybe throwing in an interception or two then the Giants have a shot. Otherwise the Giants will just be asking too much of Manning against a better team.
