Jason Pierre-Paul Can Get Some Rest

This may seem a little odd, as Pierre-Paul isn’t really the player fans would think needs rest—he’s played in two games this year; he’s had half the year to rest. The gas tank should be pretty full.

But the question with Pierre-Paul wasn’t will he be ready for the season, but has he conditioned himself enough where he could endure a long season. Of course, he only has to play for half the season, barring a playoff berth, but it’s still a grueling eight games, especially for a guy who was sidelined for realistically an unknown period of time.

It’ll probably be good for Pierre-Paul to give his body a break after those first two games. Considering where the team’s pass rush is, at this point, they need him for all he can give.
