New York Giants: Thankful for Fun Season
The New York Giants will celebrate Thanksgiving in first place in the NFC East. After their week 11 bye the Giants look to make a playoff push. One thing is for sure, the Giants have not been boring this year.
Giants fans really could not have asked for more. I mean this is a team that lost seven straight last year and finished 6-10. They started 0-6 in 2013. The Giants have been awful for a while but this season they are a decent team.
The Giants have been entertaining this season. Even in a losing effort they put up 49 points to the Saints. If you take away the absolute clunker against the Eagles, the Giants have given a great fight in every game.
The Giants are led by the sensational play of Eli Manning. Manning has scored 21 passing touchdowns this season. He has thrown just 6 interceptions. Odell Beckham is also putting on quite the show. You can’t miss the Manning and Beckham show, it truly is must see TV.
Defensively it has been a struggle. The defense is getting gashed in almost every game. The Giants have been opportunistic however and therefore a struggling defense has found a way to contribute. The Giants have one of the healthiest turnover ratios in football.
After the struggles of the past two seasons it is nice to see a decent product on the field. The Giants are a competitive team that could make the playoffs. They may even host a playoff game. Happy Thanksgiving everybody, your Giants are having a fun season.
