The New York Giants have found themselves in another must win situation. A loss against another divisional rival could make things very tricky. The NFC East could be won be a team that is 8-8 by the way things are going.
The Washington Redskins have a pretty decent offense. Cousins specializes in the deep pass, which is something the Giants have been weak against all season long. Kirk Cousins has arsenal of weapons and a cannon of an arm. The addition of Prince Amukamara should help bolster the Giants’ secondary, but there’s only so much he could do by himself.
This is usually around the time the Giants heat up and go into the playoffs riding the momentum. That’s exactly what the Giants need to do once again if they want to survive. It is essential to win the easier games because they have a very tough schedule ahead of them.

The Giants’ offense is just too high octane for the Redskins’ defense. The last game these two teams played, the Redskins could not contain a number of the Giants’ receivers. The emergence of Dwyane Harris in the slot and the recent signing of Hakeem Nicks should make Jay Gruden concerned.
Nicks had the bye week to learn the Giants’ new offense and he has a juicy matchup against the Redskins’ secondary. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Giants plan to use him. He may be able to revive his career with the same team he started with.
