New York Giants: Which Players Are Active In Week 12?

The New York Giants battle against the Washington Redskins should be quite interesting. The Giants are gaining some key players back in this matchup. Prince Amukamara is returning into the lineup and Hakeem Nicks is making his debut for the team. These two players could have a big impact going down the stretch.

Nicks is going to be thrown right into the lineup against a very poor Redskins’ secondary. He should be able to take advantage of the situation. It should be interesting to see if he can rekindle the magic he once had with Eli Manning. The last time the dynamic duo was together they helped bring the team to the Super Bowl.

The Giants are missing a number of players this game including, wide receiver Geremy Davis, cornerback Leon McFadden, offensive lineman Justin Pugh, offensive lineman Weston Richburg, tight end Larry Donnell, defensive end George Selvie, and safety Cooper Taylor.

Larry Donnell has been sidelined with a neck injury for a past couple of weeks. The Giants have been using the combination of Will Tye and Jerome Cunningham. That combination has been very shaky especially since Tye is highly inexperienced.

The most noticeable inactive players are Pugh and Richburg. The Giants are missing two of their top offensive linemen against a Redskins’ defensive front that is formidable. They can definitely have an impact on the Giants’ poor offensive line.

The damage isn’t too bad bad this week. The Giants should be able to overcome their injury plagued offensive line and squeeze out a victory.
