New York Giants Best Non-Playoff Teams of All-Time

The 2015 Giants were eliminated from playoff contention when Washington beat Philadelphia on Saturday night. This marks the sixth time in seven seasons the Giants have missed the playoffs. A lot of people didn’t know what to make of this season’s squad: were they good or bad or just average? If they didn’t blow leads in the last minute of 5 games, they could’ve been 11-3 heading into the game against Minnesota. If they’d just won two of those five, they’d have won the division. A couple plays here and there and maybe they go on another epic “second season” run. Instead, this year’s team is heading towards their third straight losing record and a possible overhaul.

I decided to take a look back at the other Giants teams that have failed to make the postseason to see who were the best and how close they came to making a title run. Here are the Giants best non-playoff teams of all-time:
