4. Nick Saban

This scenario is a little far-fetched, but the Giants may need a completely unorthodox coach to spark some life into the team. Nick Saban would be the man for that job. It is widely known how Saban feels about his failed stint with the Miami Dolphins.

Having a star quarterback would be a good start for him a second time around. Saban had a very tough gig down in Miami. He really didn’t have a chance to show the damage he could do with a solid NFL team.

Saban will most likely try to revitalize his career in the NFL some day. However, a job with the Giants would be very tough for him to land. Mara wants his organization to remain under the radar and completely professional.

While Saban is one of the best in the business, he is far from quiet. Saban’s outspoken attitude would not fit in very well with the Giants’ quiet organization. If he could adjust his attitude, he could be a potential candidate.
