1. Sean Payton

Sean Payton may be the hottest coach on the market in 2016. He officially isn’t on the market yet, but there is speculation that he will be. Many analysts believe Payton’s stint with the New Orleans Saints is over.

Payton would be the coach to bring the Giants to a Super Bowl in a year’s time. He has one of the greatest football minds in the league. The Giants would be a very captivating place for Payton to coach because he already has a lot of the offensive pieces in place.

As far as his attitude goes, Payton fits the bill for the Giants’ criteria. He is very low-key and far from outspoken. He is a strictly business kind of coach just like Coughlin is.

McAdoo and Payton are likely to be the top candidates to coach the Giants next season. That is of course, in the event that Coughlin isn’t brought back for one more year.

Who do you think should replace Coughlin?
