3. DEFENSIVE END

This is the position that is the most ‘up in the air’ for the G-Men. Jason Pierre-Paul, Robert Ayers, and George Selvie are all free agents. I’m for re-signing Robert Ayers and JPP if he comes down significantly on his asking price. Kerry Wynn was among the top 50 on the D-line in tackles but had 0 sacks. The Giants had the third least sacks in the NFL, so while JPP provided a boost in rushes and hurries and pressures, his lack of grip on his right hand limited his ability to sack. Nine of the top 10 teams in sacks made the playoffs.

POTENTIAL FREE AGENTS: Olivier Vernon, Tamba Hali, William Hayes, Muhammad Wilkerson, Malik Jackson
