1. Shaq Lawson, DE (Clemson Tigers)

The Giants must address their league worst pass rush with the 2015 All-American Junior from Clemson. Though Shaq is just slightly smaller than Oklahoma State’s Emmanuel Ogbah at 6 feet 3 inches and 270 pounds, Lawson proved he’s willing to play through pain as evidenced by his performance in the BCS National Championship Game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Lindy’s ranked Lawson as the 10th best defensive end in the nation, but NFLDraftScout.com ranked him 3rd best at his position as did CBS Sports.

From WalterFootball:

"“…quality defender against the run while also putting steady pressure on the quarterback. …smooth defender who has some natural pass-rushing skills, but isn’t explosive or super twitchy.”"

ALTERNATE PICKS: Shawn Oakman (Baylor Bears), DeForest Buckner (Oregon Ducks), Jonathan Bullard (Florida Gators), Emmanuel Ogbah (Oklahoma State Cowboys), Shilique Calhoun (Michigan State Spartans)
