8. Mohamed Sanu (WR, Cincinnati Bengals)

2015 Cap Hit: $1,682,813

Age: 26 years old

There are a ton of people who think Alshon Jeffery is the right choice, but I’ve thought he’s too injury prone and too costly for what would amount to a #2. I like his size, but there are more affordable options. Behind Jeffery are the Bengals wideouts, Marvin Jones and Sanu. They’re about the same age, but Sanu has the size advantage. There are a slew of middle tier receivers available, but Sanu seems like the best fit.

Sanu is a complementary guy who will be a solid third or fourth option that can win one-on-ones when Odell Beckham and Victor Cruz attract most of the attention. McAdoo can even get creative with Sanu running and throwing the ball.

Cincy Jungle expects Sanu to return and Jones to sign with another team since he won’t be offering “a hometown discount”, while Cleveland.com thinks both Bengals could end up being Browns. NESN believes Sanu could end up with the Patriots. The Giants are not in dire need of a wide receiver, but with Dwayne Harris more of a returner and the Victor Cruz comeback trail being so rocky, Sanu could provide some much-needed veteran depth.

7. Ladarius Green (TE, San Diego Chargers)

2015 Cap Hit: $772,725

Age: 25 years old

Green played with Papa Gates, now it’s time to play with Baby Gates.

WalterFootball.com has Ladarius as the top free agent tight end, adding:

"“Ladarius Green was never able to officially pass Antonio Gates on the depth chart, but perhaps he was one season away from doing so. Green, who is highly athletic, performed well when starting for the suspended Gates at the beginning of 2015.”"

If Antonio Gates retires, the Chargers will make a big push to re-sign Green. Big Easy Believer feels Green might end up with the New Orleans Saints with Ben Watson possibly retiring or moving on. Lombardi Avenue has the Packers in contention to throw green at Green and make a run at Super Bowl 51. While the Giants have a diamond in the rough with Will Tye, pairing him with a guy like Green would cause ulcers for opponents in two TE sets. The only knock on Ladarius is his durability.
