We’ve doled out plenty of NFL Free Agency 2016 predictions so far this offseason, but the Giants are in position to land at least 5 big free agents, possibly six and maybe even seven. FanSpeak.com offers a “Manage the Cap Free Agency Simulator 2016” with salary cap data provided by Over the Cap. After several attempts ended by their version of the spinning wheel of death, I just couldn’t exercise the patience needed to acquire the New York Giants dream team, so I gave up and built a roster on Spotrac.com, which recently published its financial to-do list for each of the 32 teams. Their advice for the Giants? Release Victor Cruz and sign Mario Williams.

I disagree. If the Giants wanted to cut Cruz along with Beatty, Schwartz, and – essentially – Beason, they would’ve done it already. My money’s on the G-Men restructuring Cruz’s contract to save a little under $5 million, which might not seem like a lot, but could land one more ‘name’ free agent. With Cruz taken care of, and a few other Giants free agents re-signed, Big Blue would be in an amazing position to land at LEAST five notable free agents.

Next: BUT, WHO DO THE GIANTS KEEP?
