Though leaks constantly sprung throughout Ben McAdoo’s first month as New York Giants head coach, he finally unveiled his first, full Giants coaching staff earlier this week. McAdoo stresses first and foremost how the staff is brand new and “nobody was retained.”

Some Tom Coughlin staff members were technically retained. All three coordinators essentially remain intact, with Mike Sullivan taking the offensive reins from McAdoo while Steve Spagnuolo and Tom Quinn continue to man defense and special teams, respectively.

Rather than the assistants who managed to avoid unemployment, the true stories will always lie with the flashier newcomers along the sidelines. From wide receivers coach Adam Henry to a plethora of defensive specialists and even fresh leadership in the revolt against injury reports, this staff is as decorated as it is balanced with experience, pedigree and a second wind.

Of course, gelled results need to transpire on the field, whether it’s maintaining Eli Manning’s production or actually thwarting opposing offenses in the fourth quarter. Comparable to player scouting for the upcoming free agency period and draft, some of McAdoo’s coaching hires will prove to be major hits as opposed to others…but which one is already the best?

Let’s dive into the rankings before the ghost of Coughlin pelts everyone in the facility with clocks (edit: He’s still very much alive):
