6. Antonio Morrison (Florida Gators)

6 feet 1 inch, 232 pounds
GRADE: 5.37

WalterFootball.com ranked Morrison 5th among inside linebackers, stating:

"“He was a quality run defender and tackler for the Gators. Morrison is very tough and packs a punch as a tackler, but he needs to improve his pass coverage for the NFL.”"

From NFL.com: “Ultra competitive with unmatched intensity… Plays with extraordinary balance and is very rarely off his feet… undersized, but extremely productive” Struggles to disengage quickly… lacks patience… instincts and vision are poor.”

He had two arrests: punching bouncer, barking at a police dog/resisting arrest, the latter of which was so absurd, charges were almost immediately dropped. An anonymous general manager said Morrison is “a two-down MIKE linebacker who is tough as hell and a good football player”.

Scouts project him to be a weak inside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, so the Giants are probably out of the running.
