3. Terrance Smith (Florida State Seminoles)

6 feet 3 inches, 234 pounds
GRADE: 5.39
40 yard dash: 4.77 seconds
Bench press: 19 reps
Vertical jump: 34.5 inches
Broad jump: 120.0 inches (10 feet)
Projected Round: 6th – Free Agent

WalterFootball.com ranked Terrance 20th among inside linebackers entering the draft.

From NFL.com: “Closing burst gives him potential as a blitzer… has chase speed… Frame might be too thin to play inside…Very little bang behind his pads…doesn’t have the play strength to consistently finish as a tackler and he shows a surprising lack of tackles for loss.”

Father was a standout receiver at Clemson and DeAndre Hopkins is his cousin.

Scouts believe he’ll play on the inside in a 3-4 alignment, but on the outside in a 4-3 scheme, so he’s probably not a great fit for the Giants.
