On March 10th, Pauline points out “underrated corner Taveze Calhoun stood out in position work (and) had private meetings with the Miami Dolphins, Giants as well as the Los Angeles Rams.”

Calhoun received a 4.96 grade, which was next to last among combine participants, but managed to surpass his combine vertical jump at pro day.

A scout noted that Calhoun is a “Really good kid and high-end leader… Coaching staff over at MSU speaks highly of the person and teammate he is.

Zierlein added:

"“High-character leader whose overall intelligence translates into positive plays on the field. Calhoun doesn’’t have good deep speed… lacks the physicality as a tackler to be a full-time zone corner. Late Day 3 draft pick or camp invite”"
