1. Quentin Gause – OLB, Rutgers

Prior to the Rutgers pro day on March 9th, you could say many NFL teams overlooked Rutgers Scarlet Knights outside linebacker Quentin Gause.

On March 9th, Pauline notes that Gause “built a buzz about himself with his performance and one local AFC East team told me he was the best player in attendance at the pro day. After the workout, Gause met with the Lions, Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bengals, Eagles and Giants.”

Gause clocked a 4.75 in the 40 yard dash, had a vertical jump of 36 inches, a broad jump of 9 feet 9 inches and pumped out 23 reps on the bench press.

Gause’s credits include:

2015 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention (Media)
2015 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award
2015 Team Captain
2015 “R” Man Courage Award
2014 Big Ten All-Academic Team
2014 Rutgers Leadership Award
2013 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team

NFLDraftScout.com ranked him 63rd out of 260 outside linebackers while the Big Ten Network named Gause to their list of most improved players in 2015. Before the 2015 season, Gause was one of the top 5 Rutgers prospects as ranked by Eric Galko of OptimumScouting.
