UPDATE: Emmanuel Ogbah – DE, Oklahoma State

Ogbah is not a darkhorse prospect, but it’s worth relaying Pauline’s entry from March 9th in which he wrote:

"“Giants had decent-sized presence in attendance at Oklahoma State pro day for Emmanuel Ogbah.”"

Ogbah was one of the top five defensive ends at the combine, receiving a 6.17 grade, and deemed one of five combine “winners” by NFL analyst Bucky Brooks. Emmanuel was the top performer in the 40 yard dash, vertical jump and broad jump and has been compared to Carolina Panthers D-end Charles Johnson.

Zeirlein noted:

"“….appears unimpressive because he doesn’t play with the quickness or athleticism expected of productive pass rushers, but eventually, his translatable qualities avail themselves. Ogbah’s power will serve him well against the run… can play 3-4 outside linebacker or 4-3 defensive end, and he might have value inside in subpackages.”"

Gil Brandt reports that the coaches who attended the OK State pro day believe Ogbah would serve better at D-end than outside linebacker.
