Gifford’s legacy extends far past his unfortunate passing last year. To be a top 10 rusher AND receiver for the Giants franchise while additionally notching double-digit touchdown passes, all after being initially recruited by colleges as a defensive back…it’s extraordinary for anyone to accomplish in any phase of the sport.
