2016 Cap Hit: $788,400

Ryan Nassib signed his 4 year rookie contract with the Giants in 2013 that included a $453,600 signing bonus and an average annual salary of $653,400. In 2016, Nassib will earn a base salary of $675,000. Nassib has a cap hit of $788,400 while his dead money value is $113,400.

For a lot of fans, the jury is still out on Nassib. We’ve seen him perform very well in preseason and in garbage time during the regular season. How would he stack up against first team units? We might never know, at least, not in a Giants uniform. It’s possible that Nassib becomes the next Brock Osweiler or he could follow in the footsteps of Matt Schaub, Matt Flynn, or Matt Cassell. Since his first name isn’t Matt, that’s a great headstart.

The big question remains: Is there any chance the Giants re-sign Nassib knowing he probably wants to start and Eli Manning has -barring injury – another four years in him?
