Dan Hoppen of HuskersOnline commends Sterup’s resiliency after losing his job to an underclassman before the season began only to fight back and regain his starting position.

In his Pro Day notes, Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net mentioned that Sterup had an official visit set up with the New York Giants.

NFLDraftScout projects Sterup might go in the 7th round, rating him 22nd out of 108 offensive tackles.

Zach’s definitely got the size and the smarts, so maybe tutelage from a professional coaching staff can bring out the best in him.
