4. Week 7: Giants vs. Los Angeles Rams (London), 10/23/16

The last time the Giants and Rams played, sparks flew, punches were thrown and the Giants put up a bunch of points to win in convincing fashion. Eli Manning had a monster three touchdown performance as he hooked up with Odell Beckham, Jr. twice and Rueben Randle once. Both of those receivers had more than 100 yards receiving. The Giants offense destroyed a very good Rams defense.

This game will be interesting for a number of reasons:

  1. Giants fans will most likely get to see the Rams’ top drat choice, new franchise quarterback, Jared Goff.
  2. The game will be played in London. It is the first time the Giants will play in London since the 2007 season when they defeated the Dolphins. The last time the Giants played in London they would later play in the Super Bowl.
  3. Giants free agent acquisition Janoris Jenkins will be facing his old squad.
  4. The G-Men have won the past six meetings after losing five straight, but against the Los Angeles Rams, Big Blue is only 8-20.
  5. The Giants passed on Georgia Bulldogs workhorse Todd Gurley III to draft starting left tackle Ereck Flowers in the 2015 NFL Draft. Will Gurley make them regret that decision? Will Flowers prove he was the right pick?
