As we all know, Justin Tuck signed a one-day deal to retire as a member of the New York Giants. We decided to rank his 10 greatest games playing for Big Blue.
As Tuck and many others have repeatedly said, “Once a Giant, Always a Giant.” The former third round pick of the 2005 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame bled Big Blue for nine seasons. His approximate value with the Giants is 11th best in franchise history for a defender behind Crunch Bunch linebacker Brian Kelley and just one slot ahead of strip-sack master Osi Umenyiora.
Justin’s 18 forced fumbles are third most in franchise history behind Michael Strahan and the aforementioned Osi. His 60.5 sacks with the G-Men place him sixth on the all-time Giants list. Tuck’s 135 assists are fourth most in the club’s rich history.
Now that we’ve got the big picture, let’s sort through Tuck’s best single game outputs…

Sunday, September 13, 2009
Tuck earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play. He had 1.5 sacks, four solo tackles, and an assist.
On first and 10 from the Giants 37 with a little over seven minutes remaining in the opening frame of the 2009 season opener, Tuck helped Chase Blackburn sack Antwaan Randle El for a loss of 11 yards.
Later, as the third quarter was coming to a close, Tuck got to Jason Campbell for a loss of a couple yards. The play forced Washington to kick a field goal to get to 10-17 in the Giants’ favor.
