9. Oakland Raiders 7 at New York Giants 44

Tuck had two sacks, six tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a blowout win over the Raiders at the old Giants Stadium.

Up 21-0, towards the beginning of the second quarter, Tuck recovered a fumble caused by Terrell Thomas’ sack of JaMarcus Russell on third and 10.

Towards the end of the first half on first and 10 from the Raiders 30, with the Giants up 28-7, Tuck strip-sacked Russell, which was recovered by Osi Umenyiora.

The Week 5 win meant the Giants remained undefeated at 5-0, but they wouldn’t see another victory until November 22nd in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons. Big Blue went 3-8 after the 5-0 start.

8. New York Giants 23 at Washington Redskins 7

Tuck had 2 sacks and 6 tackles in the Week 13 win that upped their record to 11-1. Both sacks came at Jason Campbell’s expense and in the fourth quarter to preserve the lead.

The seven points allowed was tied for second fewest of that season. Big Blue would go on to lose four of their next five games including the Divisional Round playoff to the Eagles at home.

7. Dallas Cowboys 14 at New York Giants 35

Tuck had 2.5 sacks and 5 tackles in a game that saw Brad Johnson and Brooks Bollinger taking snaps at quarterback for the Cowboys. The Week 9 blowout win propelled the G-Men to a 7-1 record.

The eleven first downs, 183 total yards, and 102 passing yards were the fewest allowed of that season while the four turnovers tied for the game-high in 2008 with the previous week’s effort at Pittsburgh.
